Karachi: Funeral prayers held for burnt victims, reason for blaze revealed

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Funeral prayers for six out of the eight people who were killed after a fire erupted in a van in Karachi was held.
The injured driver revealed that a man who was smoking in the van was the reason for ablaze. According to police, a tank of gasoline was placed in the van.
Eight people died and five others were wounded when a pickup van rammed into a rickshaw and caught fire at Chowrangi area of Karachi. The injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The victims were on their way to attend a wedding ceremony.
Meanwhile, three people, including a woman, were killed when a passenger bus hit a motorbike on the National Highway near Chichawatni on Saturday morning.
