ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Another consultative meeting of the government and opposition ended without a result over the appointment of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) officials on Tuesday.

The opposition staged a walkout of the meeting that was held at the chamber of the Speaker National Assembly. The opposition also expressed reservations over NAB’s notice to Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mushahidullah Khan said that whatever government is doing is not good and the days of the government are numbered.

The meeting again started after opposition’s walkout.

Talking to media after the meeting, Mushahidullah Khan said that the ice is breaking between government and another meeting will be held on December 30.

He hoped that the issue would be resolved in the next meeting.
