Summary The court has adjourned the NCIL case until May 31 as eight witnesses changed their statements.
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi was brought to a banking court in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) case on Wednesday.The counsel for Moonis told the court that eight witnesses of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had recorded their statements before a magistrate that they did not give any statement to the FIA. Directing the prosecution to provide all the documents related with the case to Moonis’ lawyer, the court adjourned the hearing until May 31.Moonis is expected to be inducted on the next hearing.
