Traffic violation fine on motorway increased
Govt has increased fine on over-speeding, signal violation and dangerous driving on motorways.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has increased fine on over-speeding, signal violation and dangerous driving on motorways, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to Communication Ministry, fine for drivers of cars on over speeding has been enhanced from Rs 750 to whooping Rs 2,500. Fine of Rs 10,000 will be charged from drivers of over speeding passenger buses while trucks and other heavy duty vehicles would pay Rs 5,000 as fine.
Car drivers and motorcyclists would pay a fine of Rs 1,500 on dangerous driving while Rs 5,000 would be charged from drivers of heavy duty vehicles on the same offence. Rs 5,000 would be charged on traffic signal violation.
