What Shehbaz Sharif calling ransom is actually convenience: Firdous Ashiq
Awan expressed that the government gave relief to Nawaz Sharif on the basis of humanity.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government’s intentions should not be doubted and they will act precisely on the judicial relief given to Nawaz Sharif.
Responding to a question regarding Shehbaz Sharif‘s statement, she expressed that the attitude of the PML-N leader was condemnable. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Shehbaz Sharif made a misleading propaganda. “Nawaz Sharif did not go to jail for winning a gold medal or a trophy”, she asserted, adding that Nawaz Sharif was found guilty by the courts, and not the government. "Shehbaz Sharif should refrain from fooling the nation with two statements".
SAPM Awan expressed that the government gave relief to Nawaz Sharif on the basis of humanity. “What Shahbaz Sharif calling ransom is actually convenience”, she added. She said that the eyes of the public should be opened now as his own sons are not ready to mortgage the Jati Umra residence, those for whom he did everything are not ready to submit bonds. “Hospital is the best place to treat a patient but Sharif family is keeping Nawaz in Jati Umra”, she added.
Earlier, while addressing a press conference after consultation meeting of senior party leaders in Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif said that the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to take ransom from Sharif family in the name of indemnity bond.
