CM Usman Buzdar summons emergency meeting following Fazal-ur-Rehman's Plan B.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has on Wednesday summoned a high-level emergency meeting following Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) President Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman’s announcement of switching to Plan B.
Inspector General of Police Capt (r) Arif Nawaz Khan, Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja, Information and Culture Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, Punjab Chief Secretary Yousaf Naseem Khokhar and other concerned officials will attend the meeting headed by Usman Buzdar at the CM Office.
The provincial government will review law and order situation and devise a strategy to keep the traffic running on roads after Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, while addressing the participants of Azadi March, announced on Tuesday to switch to Plan B.
Sources privy to the matter said main roads across the country would be blocked in second phase of the march.
