ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday urged Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman to shun negative politics and pursue the democratic posture.

In a series of tweets, she said the JUI-F should not undermine the system by making unconstitutional and undemocratic demands.

She said Fazlur Rehman was perturbed as Prime Minister Imran Khan aimed to provide jobs to youths and has been working to put the state’s economy back on track.

“Maulana is also aggrieved at the establishment of the genuine public rule in the country for the first time, instead of few families.”

Firdous asked the JUI-F chief to not exploit his workers to fulfill his desire of coming back to the parliament. “Fazlur Rehman should wait for four years […] instead of leaving workers at the mercy of harsh weather conditions, they should be allowed to go back home.”
