Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that their main demand is the elections and PM's resignation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said the negotiating should be meaningful but the government committee is not taking it seriously.
Talking to media, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri expressed that they want the prime minister Imran Khan’s resignation. “I do not think the matter will be resolved without PM’s resignation”, he added.
He went on to say that their main demand is the elections and PM’s resignation. “Even a year and a half later, the parliamentary committee could not move a step further”, he said adding that the door to negotiations are open.
He said that the Azadi March’s stance is clear but government is going towards the conflict. “Faizabad sit-in was a different matter, and we have been sitting peacefully for eight days”, he added.
