Qalb-e-Hussain elected Supreme Court Bar Association president
Shamim-ur-Rehman of Hamid Khan group was elected as general secretary of SCBA.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Qalb-e-Hussain, a candidate backed by Asma Jehangir group, was elected president of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
A high turnout was witnessed in Supreme Court Bar Association election in Lahore as 981 out of 1299 registered voters at Lahore Registry cast their vote in today’s election.
Shamim-ur-Rehman of Hamid Khan group was elected as general secretary while an independent candidate Ghulam Murtaza Chaudhry was elected as vice president.
