Seven injured in explosion near police van in Quetta
Seven people have been reported injured so far.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – In a tragic incident, seven people including three personnel have suffered injures in a bomb explosion near a police van in Spinny area of Quetta.
According to police sources, the explosives were planted in a motorcycle while the police van was the main target of the terrorists.
As soon as the explosion was reported, law enforcement and rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene. Rescue teams shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital Quetta via ambulances where emergency was imposed, while security forces cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
On Oct. 15, a policeman was martyred and 11 others including four policemen were wounded in a bomb blast in Balochistan`s provincial capital.
As per the details, the explosion took place on Quetta’s Double Road near police vehicle when the law enforcers were on routine patrolling and sitting in their vehicle. Several vehicles, including cars and motorcycles in the vicinity of the blast, were damaged due to its intensity.
The explosive device was planted in a motorcycle. Soon after the blast, law enforcement agencies and rescue staff reached the spot. The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, while the injured men were shifted to local hospital for medical assistance.
