Snowfall hits Babusar Pass, Naran

Babusar Pass has been covered with five inches of snow so far, for which traffic has been restricted

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In most parts of the country, the cold weather has begun to rise while the snowfall has covered Naran and Babusar Top along with the mountains of Azad Kashmir.

According to Dunya News, the changing climate of Pakistan has taken everyone by surprise. The snow falling has been witnessed in the north of Pakistan. The Babusar Pass has been covered with five inches of snow so far, for which all types of traffic has been restricted.

Due to traffic restrictions, residents have also been ordered to evacuate the area immediately. All hotels located in the area have been closed. Heavy snowfall forecasted for the next 24 hours in Kaghan and Naran.

People in the region took out warm clothes after the first snowfall of winter in Azad Kashmir.

On the other hand, temperature also started to decrease in different parts of Balochistan, while Karachi is still witnessing hot conditions. Over the next few days, its intensity is likely to increase further, with pollution gust.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department reported that rain is expected in Islamabad, Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today along with further snowfall in the north.
