PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former finance minister Asad Umar has said that discussions are ongoing to rejoin the federal cabinet, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader said in an interview that if he has to show performance by joining the cabinet, he will do it.
Asad Umar affirmed that although the country is moving towards stability, still it will take two more years to complete this transition. Dollar has not been discussed for many days which is the sign of improvement, he said.
The former minister further added that people should stop thinking about the greenback. Asad Umar said Pakistan’s economy is now out of ICU and moving towards growth.
Talking about IT sector, the PTI leader commented that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is making good progress in the field.
