Political leadership expresses deep sorrow over Chaman blast

Bilawal Bhutto called for better treatment facilities for the victims of the Chaman blast.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Political leadership of Pakistan has expressed deep sorrow over the death of three people including Deputy General Secretary of JUI-F Maulana Muhammad Hanif near Chaman area of Qila Saif Ullah, Balochistan.

Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmed Shah strongly condemned the Chaman blast, saying he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives and financial consequences of the blast.

He expressed that the elements involved in the deadly attack will be brought to their logical end. “It was a cowardly attempt to undermine the determination of law enforcement agencies”. “Enemy elements are scared of prosperous and improved way Chaman was heading towards”, he added.

Interior Minister went on to say that they will ensure that the work, from trade to border security, continues and will fight against such cowardly conspiracies that will hinder the development of Balochistan.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto strongly condemned the Chaman blast and said that the death of JUI-F central leader was tragic, while expressing sympathy with the relatives of Mohammad Hanif.

He called for better treatment facilities for the victims of the Chaman blast, adding that there was concern over the law and order situation in Balochistan.

PPP Chairman asserted that non-implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) is becoming a source of encouragement for terrorism.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has also strongly condemned the blast in Chaman, and expressed to be equally involved in the mourning of the relatives of the martyrs. “Targeting innocent people is a sinful act of humanity and religion”, he said adding that such coward people can’t achievement their goals exercising such acts.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jamal Kamal Khan said that the Chaman bombing was an unfortunate event, adding that he was saddened for the martyrdom of three people including JUI-F leader Maulana Mohammad Hanif and expressed sympathy to the relatives.

The Chief Minister directed the police to immediately arrest the elements involved in terrorism. “Maulana Mohammad Hanif was a well-informed and religious man”.

Balochistan Assembly Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo also condemned the bombing and expressed deep sorrow over the killing of three people, including Maulana Hanif. He said that the province has gotten deprived of a renowned scholar like Maulana Hanif.
