PM will strongly present Kashmir case in UNGA: Dr Firdous

Dr Firdous said the premier will remind the UN its promises made to Kashmiris.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will strongly present the case of Kashmiris in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

In a series of tweets, the special assistant said Imran Khan as ambassador of the oppressed people will become Kashmiris voice at the world’s largest House.

She said the premier will remind the UN its promises made to Kashmiris.

Dr Firdous further urged the world to support the oppressed Kashmiris, adding that in the last seven decades, the most powerful voice in favor of Kashmiris is that of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which is being heard in close quarters today.

She said that the PM has apprised the world leaders and heads of human rights organization about grave human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and threats to regional peace.
