Dengue claims two more lives in Rawalpindi
Death toll from deadly dengue virus in Islamabad and Rawalpindi has escalated to 13.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Two more dengue fever patients died in various hospitals in Rawalpindi on Monday, raising the death toll from the disease to 13 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi this year, Dunya News reported.
According to details, 30 years old Abdul Basit, a resident of Chakwal, was admitted to Holy Family Hospital two days ago. He was shifted to ICU ward after his condition deteriorated where he died during treatment.
On the other hand, 28 years old Sohaib Mir of Eidgah area of Rawalpindi died of dengue fever at the Quaid-e-Azam Private Hospital. Sohaib was brought to hospital after medical tests proved that dengue virus was present in his blood.
