Shehbaz Sharif condemns arrest of PPP stalwart Khursheed Shah
The rulers have gone totally blind for political revenge�, Shehbaz Sharif said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the arrest of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah.
A statement issued by Mian Shehbaz Sharif said that Syed Khursheed Shah is a respected name of Pakistan’s politics. “He is a firm, serious and genuine political activist,” he added.
He said that Imran Khan has been using black law against political opponents for over a year. “His arrest at the National Assembly meeting and the Kashmir Conference is extremely tragic. The rulers have gone totally blind for political revenge”, he maintained.
Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah in case pertaining to assets beyond income source.
The PPP stalwart will be produced before the Accountability Court Sukkur on Thursday for a remand
