NAB arrests Karachi Mayor advisor over corruption charges
The accused will be sent to Islamabad on a transit remand.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Joint Investigation Team today (Sept. 17) arrested the Advisor to Mayor of Karachi Liaquat Ali Khan over corruption charges.
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Director General Parks Liaquat Ali Khan has been considered a close aide to former Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan.
The NAB has begun questioning Liaquat Ali over corruption of Rs2 billion while also questioning him about his assets worth Rs10 billion.
The accused will be sent to Islamabad on a transit remand.
