Dolphin Force personnel suspended for slapping, thrashing citizen
Reportedly, after the incident, the motorcyclist was locked up in the Nasirabad Police Station.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Police’s Dolphin Force personnel, who had slapped and thrashed a motorcyclist at Cavalry Bridge, Lahore, for not having papers of his bike, were suspended on Sunday.
The Dolphin personnel, including Ahsan, Danish, Muhammad Waqas and Waqas Ahmad, were suspended from their duties after the incident was reported on the media, the footage of which is available with Dunya News.
Despite strict orders of the Inspector General of Punjab, police have not stopped violence against citizens as the new incident of police torture is evident of it.
Reportedly, after the incident, the motorcyclist was locked up in the Nasirabad Police Station.
Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of police’s inhumane behaviour towards citizens.
