SC fixes Justice Qazi Faez Isa constitutional petition for hearing
A seven-member larger bench of the Supreme Court will take up the plea on September 17.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has fixed Justice Qazi Faez Isa s constitutional petition for hearing against the misconduct reference filed against him at the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Dunya News reported on Thursday.
A seven-member larger bench of the Supreme Court head by Justice Umar Atta Bandial will take up the plea on September 17. Other members of the bench include Justice Maqbool Baqar, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Faisal Arab, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel.
It is pertinent to mention here that no judge of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) is part of the larger bench which will hear the constitutional petition of Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
