PM decides to celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day along with Defence Day on Sept 6
"Kashmir Banega Pakistan" is the theme of this year's Defence Day.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day along with Defence Day on Friday (September 6) by addressing in the memory of Kashmiri martyrs in Muzaffarabad.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by PM Imran Khan. “Special Defence Day celebrations should be held in the provincial capitals to show solidarity with Kashmiris,” he expressed. He advised the entire Pakistan to reach out to the families of martyrs on Friday.
He will visit the capital of Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, where he will address a function to celebrate the Kashmir Day with people of the region.
It should be noted that this year the defence slogan has been themed "Ae Chalein Shaheed Ke Ghar (Let’s go to the house of Shaheed)" and "Kashmir Banega Pakistan (Kashmir will become Pakistan)".
