Congo virus epidemic claims one more life in Karachi
Congo virus has resulted in the death of 14 people so far this year.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Congo virus epidemic in Karachi killed a 32-year-old man, taking the toll of deceased to 14 this year.
Mohammad Kafeel, a resident of Korangi, had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the past few days until he breathed his last today.
Meanwhile, the health department has released a list of people infected with the Congo virus in the city. According to the list, the Congo virus has resulted in 14 deaths while the number of people infected with the virus is 26 this year.
Experts expressed deep concerns over the deaths from the Congo virus and informed that cases of the Congo virus increased after Eid-ul-Azha. Experts asserted that growing cases of the Congo virus suggest that animals were not vaccinated.
