Naushahro Feroze: Major breach in Rohri canal damages standing crops

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE (Dunya News) – A 200-foot wide breach in Rohri Canal has completely destroyed standing crops spread over hundreds of acres in Naushahro Feroze.
According to details, the locals protested against the negligence of irrigation department and demanded the authorities to shut water supply to the canal to prevent further destruction.
They said that no official from the irrigation department has so far visited the area despite timely information about the breach.
