Video scandal: FIA cyber crime registers case on Arshad Maliks application

Videos were recorded in an illegal manner for the purpose of blackmailing: Arshad Malik

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Cyber crime wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case in video scandal on the application of Judge Arshad Malik.

Sources said the Judge in his application stated that he was asked to help in cases against Nawaz Sharif through blackmailing. “Blackmailers wanted me to say that I announced the verdict on the orders of a specific group,” he said.

The judge said “I was performing my duties as Additional and Session Judge in Multan from 2000 to 2003 and during that time my immoral videos were recorded by Mian Tariq.” He said videos were recorded after giving me drugs.

He further said “I was blackmailed through these videos.” He said years after these videos were sold to Mian Raza, who is member of PML-N.
He said Nasir Janjua, Nasir Butt, Khuram Yousaf and Mehr Ghulam Jilani blackmailed him through these videos. “The purpose of these videos was to demoralize my personal character and my institution, ‘’he said.

He added that videos were recorded in illegal manner for the purpose of blackmailing.

Arshad Malik stated that he met Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra and Hussain Nawaz in Madina as a result of blackmailing and more videos were recorded during these meetings.

Arshad Malik said he was astonished to see the press conference of PML-N leaders on July 6 hitting me, judiciary and accountability process.
