PM Imran vows to recover money from former rulers spent for personal interests

A report on foreign medical treatments of the former ministers was presented in the meeting.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday has chaired session of Federal Cabinet and deliberated upon the overall political and economic situation of the country.

During the meeting, the members approved appointment of Tauseef H. Farooq as Nepra chairman and also imposed ban on the use of plastic bags in Islamabad.

A comprehensive report on the foreign medical treatments of the former ministers was also presented whereas the participants also held talk on the matter of providing loans to the masses on easy installments for the construction of their houses.

Meanwhile, the cabinet deferred agenda deciding future of government buildings.

In the previous meeting, views were exchanged on the issues of no-confidence motion against Senate chairman and opposition’s anti-government movement.

The matter of alleged video of accountability court judge Arshad Malik that was unveiled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz during a press conference was also put forward for the discussion.
