PM against continuation of democracy: Maula Bakhsh Chandio
Maula Bakhsh said that Imran Khan is representative of those who protect personal interests.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Information Secretary Maula Bakhsh Chandio today (July 10) said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is weakening democratic institutions and Parliament to gain dictatorship and power for personal gain.
Chandio expressed that PM Khan is a representative of such group which protect personal interests over anything. They are making Parliament inactive by stopping its committees’ sessions, he maintained. He added that if government had even one per cent of interest for democracy then they would not have been taking such actions.
He expressed that selected PM is carrying out such actions which even dictators could not have done. Our leadership and blood of many democratic workers flow in this democracy, he asserted. He further added that they won’t let anyone weaken the democracy for their personal gains.
