Police have arrested six people who were erecting tents in the ground

MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – In an effort to prevent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz from holding public gathering, police on Friday sealed the Quaid-e-Azam Ground in Mandi Bahauddin.

Police have arrested six people who were erecting tents in the ground and took all other material including chairs, tables, carpet in custody.

Heavy contingent of police has also been deputed around the playground.

Deputy Commissioner Mehtab Wasim said that the district administration cannot allow anyone to hold public gathering due to security reasons.

PML-N leader and Member National Assembly (MNA) Mushahid Raza said that holding public gathering is their democratic right and no one can stop them from holding rally.
