Sanaullah's arrest: Case lodged against PML-N workers for protest

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – At least 24 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers have been arrested in Faisalabad for staging protest against the arrest of Rana Sanaullah by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

According to details, the protesters took to street and chanted slogans against the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The provincial security officers arrived at the scene and detained the workers while case has also been arrested against them and other 45 unidentified people for violating law and order situation.

On July 1, ANF arrested Rana Sanaullah from the Islamabad-Lahore motorway near Sukheki and recovered over 21 kilograms of drugs from his car including 15 kilograms of heroin.

Let it be known that PML-N has also been accused of traveling with member of proscribed organization and funding the banned outfits. Sources further revealed that the drug dealers are linked to banned organizations.

Later, Sanaullah was produced before Anti-Narcotics Court for hearing during which he was sent to the Camp Jail in Lahore on a 14-day judicial remand.
