LAHORE (Dunya News) – Economic analysts have hailed the step taken by the government to extend the date for assets declaration under amnesty scheme till July 3.
Dr Salman Shah said this was necessary due to a rush of benami account holders. He said tax net must be brought to 5 million, adding that criticism on the scheme by IMF is unjustified.
Talking to Dunya News, Dr Salman said this scheme is a good step towards stable economy.
