Those making empty threats cannot do anything about the budget: Firdous Ashiq Awan
The Opposition is invited to present amendments for the benefit of the people: SAPM
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Prime Minister s Special Assistant on Information, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, said government would consider opposition’s suggestions if presented in a democratic way but not by intimidating the government.
She said a negative propaganda against PM Imran Khan is being run as he wants supremacy of law. She said coming into the parliament by back doors cannot hinder him doing right things.
Dr Awan was addressing a press conference here in the federal capital; she warned that those making empty threats could not do anything about the budget.
"The Opposition is invited to present amendments for the benefit of the people and we will get them passed," Dr Awan added. She said those having relation with Pakistan would be with the budget.
She rejected the propaganda of opposition, adding that Imran Khan was chosen by public over the rulers of the past. She said only speaker can issue production orders.
She said this is the best budget and nation would witness that these people would not be able to do any harm to budget.
