Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri adjourned the meeting due to continuous riot in the House.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal budget approval has become a major challenge for government as ruckus was yet again created in the National Assembly when Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri adjourned the session on Tuesday.

According to the details, a commotion started in the NA session today as soon as the Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif started delivering his speech.

Opposition and government members stood up and chanted slogans against each other whereas Deputy Speaker also rebuked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal and female members for shooting videos on their phones. Qasim Suri reproached Ahsan Iqbal asserting, “Even you, who have been a federal minister in the past, are using phone in the House. You won’t use a mobile phone again as I am a Speaker and I have been elected through votes to have an authority here”.

Speaker Qasim Suri expressed to run the session in a peaceful manner by giving Shehbaz Sharif a chance to deliver his speech without anyone leaving their seats or causing interruption.

PML-N leader expressed that Musharraf’s era was deprived of electricity for 20 hours a day whereas their government generated 11,000 MW of power.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed concerns on order of removing his words in past few day’s sessions. “Words like misrepresentation and lies are not non-parliamentary, people whisper things to mislead and you remove my words acting on it”, he added. To which Speaker replied that no one whispered stuff in his ears nor passed any rolling.
