Corrupts will be brought to logical end: Omar Cheema
There is no way for them to escape now, Omar Cheema asserted.
(Dunya News) – Central Information Secretary Omar Cheema expressed on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari‘s bail plea rejection tpday (June 10) saying that unquestionable evidence must have been found against him in the mega money laundering case which will lead to his logical end.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Omar Cheema expressed that IHC verdict is coherent and a logical end for Zardari. He said that it is believed that hard and unquestionable evidence has been found against him.
Omar Cheema asserted that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) carefully prepared a very solid and unquestionable report in the reference. “Corrupts will be brought to their logical end”, he added.
Information Secretary further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan have always emphasized that both Sharif and Bhutto families are the pioneer of corruption in Pakistan.
There is no way for them to escape now, he added.
Asif Zardari was arrested by NAB from Zardari House after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) rejected bail application submitted by him and his sister Faryal Talpur in the mega money laundering case.
Earlier today, the NAB prosecutor said that 29 [fake bank] accounts were traced, according to the FIR lodged in the case, and transactions of Rs4.5 billion were uncovered, and billions of rupees were transferred from A1 International and Umair Associates.
He further disclosed that the Zardari Group and the Parthenon Private Limited had conducted transactions with the accounts, and said this was a detail of only one account from the total 29.
In this regard, the court had sought complete record pertaining to the money laundering accusations against the PPP leaders from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
