Punjab government opens 177 rest houses for public

LAHORE (Dunya News) – 177 rest houses owned by various departments of Punjab government have been opened for public, which were earlier used by government officials [only].
The income generated from these [rest houses] shall not only be used for community development but for maintenance of these rest houses as well.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar took it to twitter and announced conversion of state-owned rest houses into public rest houses.

Any ordinary citizen can book a room for as low as Rs.1500/night which is cheaper than private rest houses, which are not only costly but don t provide quality environment.
