PM chairs meeting of govt's economic team
The members discussed points of the upcoming budget that will be presented on June 11
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Saturday chaired meeting of government’s economic team in Islamabad.
According to details, the members discussed points of the upcoming budget that will be presented on June 11 while the premier was also briefed over the Amnesty Scheme.
During the meeting, Imran Khan hinted at launching crackdown against the tax evaders after June 30. He said that the institutions are with the government in the accountability process.
The meeting was also attended by Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Hafeez Shaikh, Minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azhar, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman Shabbar Zaidi and others.
