Women throng to markets for Eid shopping
Women rushed to markets for Eid shopping but expressed sadness over sky touching prices of bangles.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - People have thronged to the markets as only a few days of Ramazan are left and women of Quetta are worried about Eid shopping because of soaring inflation.
The women rushed to malls and markets for Eid shopping but expressed sadness over sky touching prices of bangles. They said the Eid remains incomplete without bangles. On the other hand the shopkeepers are also worried about high inflation.
A shopkeeper said bangles’ set for children is being sold ar Rs 400 to Rs500 while for young girls at Rs 600 to Rs 700. He said despite a hike in inflation women are buying matching bangles.
