Involving PM Imran in NAB chairman scandal is dirty politics: Firdous Awan
She asserted that PM Imrans rivals are using malicious political moves to axe him.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Monday that involving PM Imran Khan in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Javed Iqbal’s case is an outright degrading move to politically malign him.
While responding to Khawaja Asif’s speech in National Assembly, SAPM expressed sarcastically that she is happy to see Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif realizing to respect an institution. She emphasized that how someone who openly degrades others’ sisters and mothers in politics can lecture about respecting their privacy.
She asserted that PM Imran’s rivals are using malicious political moves to axe him. “Those who were trying to minus him, have gotten axed from the system themselves”, she added.
She said that those who ran the government with unworthy and non-elected people now want the government to select accordingly.
She recalled that the non-elected people used to recommend elected people to the former premier in previous tenure.
