HIV is not a death sentence: Bilawal Bhutto
HIV is not a death sentence, says Bilawal Bhutto.
RATODERO (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has on Sunday said that HIV is not a death sentence, and the conflation of HIV & AIDS is fueling stigmatization of the most vulnerable people in Pakistan.
The PPP chairman took to Twitter and wrote, “This cannot and should not be tolerated. I stand by my fellow Pakistanis who have contracted HIV, be they in Ratodero, Swabi, Sargodha or Turbat.”

“I Visited HIV screening camps at Ratodero. GOS carrying out aggressive screenings, 22900 people been tested. Must destigmatise HIV by spreading awareness. We will set up endowment fund for lifetime treatment of those effected. We will not abandon our brothers, sisters & children.”
