Several banned outfit terrorists arrested from Punjab: Samsam Bukhari

Samsam Bukhari asserted that these measures were not taken due to India and global pressure but for the national interest.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Samsam Bukhari informed today (May 24) that Punjab government have arrested many alleged members of banned outfits under the National Action Plan (NAP) in Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.

While addressing to a press conference, he said that Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and other banned outfits members were arrested due to charity collection and other illegal activities.

Provincial Information Minister expressed that SSP Mohammad Zahid, JeM Irfan Ahmad from Gujranwala, SSP Hafiz Muhammad Hamza and Hafiz Hanzala from Lahore, JeM Zafar Iqbal and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Muhammad Ijaz from Multan have been arrested.

Samsam Bukhari asserted that these measures were not taken due to India and global pressure but for the national interest.

While responding to question regarding NAB chairman, Samsam said that NAB spokesperson has already denied the rumors.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) dismissed report aired by a private TV channel regarding Chairman NAB Justice (r) Javed Iqbal. In a statement, NAB termed report of a private TV channel ‘fake, fabricated and contrary to the facts.’

According to details, NAB spokesperson said that the purpose of this false news was to tarnish the Chairman NAB‘s reputation.
