CM Buzdar reviews performance of Punjab Masstransit Authority

LAHORE (Dunya News) - CM Punjab Usman Buzdar reviewed the performance and other affairs of the Punjab Masstransit Authority on Monday.
According to the details, a meeting of Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMTA) was held at Chief Minister’s Office under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, which reviewed the matters pertaining to the Punjab Mass transit Authority.
The Chief Minister sought proposals for decreasing and making the operational costs of Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus operations.
He directed to constitute a committee for formulating recommendations for making the expenditures realistic. He also directed to constitute a high-level committee for reviewing the operational and maintenance contract of the Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project.
The committee will consist of the representatives of P&D, Finance, Transport, Law and Punjab Masstransit Authority. The committee will submit its report to the Chief Minister within seven days after reviewing the contract.

Provincial Minister for Transport Jehanzeb Khan Khichi, Members of National Assembly Sadaqat Ali Khan, Ibrahim Khan, Advocate General Punjab, Members of Provincial Assembly Ijaz Khan, Ghazanfer Abbas Cheena, Mian Tariq Abdullah, Sadia Sohail Rana, chairman P&D, secretary law, secretary transport, secretary finance, and others attended the meeting.
