Bilawal Bhutto excuses to appear before NAB on May 17
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari requested the NAB to summon him on any date of next week for the proceedings.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari excused to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Park Lane case on May 17 due to prior commitments.
In response to the hearing on Park Lane case inquiry, Bilawal informed that he won’t be able to present in NAB Headquarters Islamabad on May 17 due to his prior commitments and requested NAB to summon him on any date of next week for the proceedings.
Advisor Sindh Information Minister Murtaza Wahab said that the notice issued on May 8 was received late on May 13 with a delay of five days. Bilawal Bhutto is ready to answer all the questions so we urge NAB to reschedule the proceedings, he added.
On May 14, Bilawal was directed by the anti-corruption watchdog to appear in the NAB office with answers to the questionnaire regarding the case.
The company is believed to be owned by PPP co-chairman and Bilawal Bhutto’s father – Asif Ali Zardari – and has been allegedly involved in fake transactions through benami bank accounts.
Let it be known that Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur are also being interrogated by the NAB in cases pertaining to fake bank accounts
