SC disposes of petition against drone attacks
Interior Ministry and federal government can talk to America on this matter, said CJP.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday has dismissed petition against drone attacks, stating that such issues should be discussed with the government.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa heard the case during which, the plaintiff lawyer said that several people including women and children have been killed in these air strikes.
The CJP said that now the drone attacks have been stopped, adding that Interior Ministry and federal government can talk to America on this matter as the court cannot interfere in this matter.
It is to be mentioned here that Raja Saeed Sultan had filed a petition in the court against drone strikes.
