Fire at shopping mall in Karachi doused after 16 hours
According to rescue sources, the fire has turned goods worth million of rupees into ashes.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The massive fire that engulfed the Bin Hashim Mall in Gulistan Johar area of Karachi on Tuesday morning has been doused by fire tenders after a hectic effort of 15 hours, , Dunya News reported.
At least 12 fire tenders and a snorkel took part in the operation to douse the blaze. The authorities suspended power supply to the area during the operation.
According to rescue sources the fire has turned all the expensive goods worth million of rupees into ashes. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
