Pakistan's military says the tested missile is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

Pakistan successfully tested indigenously-developed Hatf-8 (Raad) cruise missile on Friday. According to a military statement, the missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads and the test is part of a continuous process to improve technical aspects of the missile system.The statement said that the missile had been developed in Pakistan and had a range of 350 kilometres. Pakistani scientists have achieved a greater strategic capability, enabling the country’s forces to protect air, land and sea limits.The president and the prime minister have congratulated the scientists and engineers for successfully conducting the missile test.
