Summary Nationalist leader Nawaz Khan won the by-election as he got a total of 8274 votes.
Leader of the Balawaristan National Front, Nawaz Khan Naji emerged victorious LA – 19, Ghizar – 01, by-election. After Pir Syed Karam Ali Shah became the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, the voting for the vacant seat started at 8am and without any breaks closed at 4pm on Thursday.Nationalist leader Nawaz Khan won the by-election as he got a total of 8274 votes. Pakistan Muslim League-N’s candidate Col (Retd) Karim Ahmad Shah was in second place as he got 5116 votes while the PPP’s candidate Johar Ali Khan was in third place with 4108 votes.
