US doesn't support any separatist movement in Pakistan: Alice Wells
The US supports peace efforts between Pakistan and India
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice Wells on Tuesday said that the US doesn’t support any separatist movement in Pakistan.
Talking to journalist at American embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday, she said that there were no evidence of India using Afghan soil to launch attacks inside Pakistan.
Praising Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement regarding action against non-state actors, Wells said that no country should support non-state actors, adding that implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) is a welcoming step.
“The US supports peace efforts between Pakistan and India,” she said and added all stakeholders will have to sit together for intra-Afghan dialogues. Pakistan and Afghanistan needs to sort out matters.
