NCHR delegation visits NAB jail in Lahore
In the view of summer season, NAB Lahore has also installed air-conditioners in jail.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – For the first time in the history of country, a delegation from National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) on Tuesday visited National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) jail in Lahore to review the facilitations and arrangements being provided to the prisoners.
According to details, NCHR delegation visited the NAB prison along with several journalists where they examined arrangements and interacted with detained persons.
After questioning prisoners and reviewing lock ups, NCHR chairman Justice (R) Ali Nawaz Chohan said, “many voices were raised about NAB jail, so, it was our duty to come here [NAB jail] because of such allegations."
"We will not say all right ; even, we will review all hidden things which cannot be seen by naked because further assessments will be made," said NCHR chairman openly.
On the other hand, in the view of summer season, NAB Lahore has also installed air-conditioners in jail.
