LAHORE (Dunya News) – In a slip of toung, PML-N s lawmaker chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ during a protest against the incumbent government.
As per details, the PML-N leader was visibly embarrassed when the camera caught her chanting ‘Go Nawaz Go’ instead of ‘Go Imran Go’.

This was not the first time the PML-N workers have had a slip of the tongue. PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Sabir Shah had also been caught on camera chanting the ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogan.
Go Nawaz Go is a political slogan in Pakistan, popularized during the Azadi March and Inqilab March protests against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) respectively.
The movements aimed for the resignation of Sharif, over claims of governmental manipulations in the 2013 general election.
Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad, the leader of Awami Muslim League (Pakistan) initially introduced the anti-government chant after Nawaz Sharif refused to step down as Prime Minister in September 2014.
The slogan was later popularised by Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and current Prime Minister who ran a protest movement simultaneously.
In 2017, Sharif was removed from office by the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding revelations from the Panama Papers case. In 2018, the Pakistani Supreme Court disqualified Sharif from holding public office and he was sentenced to ten years in prison.
