Accountability over misuse of power inevitable: Murtaza Wahab
Murtaza Wahab told that investigation into the matter is underway as per law.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives, Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday has condemned minor’s death in police encounter.
The leader declared Sindh police responsible for the incident and said that accountability over misuse of power is inevitable.
Murtaza Wahab told that investigation into the matter is underway as per law.
It is to be mentioned here that one and a half year old boy was killed during an exchange of fire between police and alleged suspects at the University Road in Karachi on Tuesday night.
The family was going to their home on an auto rickshaw when a stray bullet hit the little boy named Ahsan.
Boy’s father said that he saw two police officials with pistols in their hands who were exchanging fire with alleged suspects who were looting the resident in the area.
SSP Malir, Azam Jamali said that four police officials were taken into custody in this connection.
