Pak Army's 4 major generals promoted to the rank of lieutenant general
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa chaired the meeting of promotion board at the GHQ on April 3
(Dunya News) – The Pakistan Army promoted four major generals to the rank of lieutenant general as statement was released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
According to the military media’s wing, Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Major General Nauman Mahmood, Major General Azhar Abbas and Major General Faiz Hameed were the generals who were awarded promotions.

On April 3, promotion of 40 brigadiers to the major general was also announced. It included 11 officers from the Army Medical Corps.
