NAB's Executive Board approves six new references
The meeting will likely to approve six inquiries and three references regarding money laundering.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday chaired an important meeting of the Executive Board in Islamabad.
During the meeting, six new references against Omni Group chief Anwar Majeed’s son Abdul Ghani Majeed and others were approved.
The accused have inflicted loss of Rs42 billion to the national exchequer through fake bank accounts and illegal allotment of government land, the members were briefed.
References against former administrator at KMC and ex-CDA director A. Ghulam Sarwar, Ali Gohar also got green signal.
NAB’s Executive Board is a high forum that examines cases and approves evidence for further action.
