Shikarpur: Five terrorists arrested, arms recovered
Police arrested five terrorists of a banned outfit during an operation in Jaghan area of Shikarpur.
SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) – Police foiled a major terror bid and arrested five terrorists of a banned outfit during an operation in Jaghan area of Shikarpur on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police arrested two terrorists of a banned organization, identified as Abdul Shakoor and Abdul Hakeem Bangali, and recovered two pressure cooker bombs, 35 hand grenades, 20 kilograms of explosive material and other weapons from their possession.
Police sources informed that on the information provided by the arrested terrorists three other terrorists were also nabbed.
During initial investigation, the arrested terrorists revealed that their gang received funding from Afghanistan. They also disclosed that their network consists of ten terrorists.
